Meeting Facilitator Associate

This is a work-from-home salaried employee position so location isn’t as relevant as appropriate home office setting.

Position
We're looking to add to our work-from-home Meeting Facilitator Associate team. This is an employee position. A Meeting Facilitator Associate (MFA) facilitates a meeting with client and candidate. The MFA calls candidates provided to establish interest in a RJ & Makay client firm and then schedule and facilitate the initial meeting. This is a position where you’re on the phone all day calling financial pros. We want MFAs who know all about cold calling and are skilled in appointment setting and maintaining a professional phone presence. After the MFA qualifies and schedules interested parties the information is submitted through our database to the RJ & Makay recruiting team, where they take over from there.

The MFA is NOT responsible for managing the interviewing and negotiating life cycle. Our MFAs don’t have to be financial experts but they do need to be experts on the client information provided. A phone personality that is friendly, upbeat and professional is mandatory. Our MFAs don’t have ongoing correspondence or candidate management responsibilities.

Responsibilities
Typical responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Cold calling leads provided
  • Scheduling and facilitating interview meetings
  • Qualify candidates
  • Logging all information from calls into company database
  • Work with other team members in the recruitment of financial professionals
  • Recruit for a variety of roles

Requirements
The ideal candidate for this position will possess the following qualifications:

  • High degree of integrity and superlative work ethic
  • The right mindset that allows you to be a self starter and efficient worker even from a work-from-home environment
  • The ability to work professionally and diligently without being micromanaged
  • Computer literacy including proficiency working with all MS Office programs
  • Technical comfort level with company database
  • Familiarity with the recruitment and/or staffing industry, finance, or financial services support preferred but not required
  • Exceptional interpersonal, verbal, and written communications skills
  • Ability to skillfully deal with strong personalities who have direct communication styles
  • Inside sales experience
  • Quiet and professional home office working environment
  • Reliable computer, designated phone line, high speed Internet, Microsoft Office
  • Teachable

Compensation and benefits

  • We have different employee compensation models ranging from $15,000 to $30,000 first-year base salary options with monthly commissions and bonuses
  • Typical compensation on this program ranges in the mid $30s to mid $50’s.
  • 30 paid vacation days per year (some days must be taken during certain holiday periods)
  • Home office overhead allowance
  • At this time no health insurance benefits are offered
  • You must successfully complete an initial two-week paid (as in we pay you) training trial period

Schedule

  • This is a full-time 40 hour per week position
  • Typical work schedule is from 7am or 8am to 4pm or 5pm, Monday through Friday
  • 30 paid vacation days per year (some days must be taken during certain holiday periods)

Independent Contractor Meeting Facilitator

All leads provided

Opportunity
We're looking to add to our team of independently contracted work-from-home meeting facilitators (that's a mouthful). A Contract Meeting Facilitator (CMF) facilitates a meeting with client and candidate. Current leads are provided. We want contractors who know all about cold calling being a numbers game and are skilled in appointment setting and maintaining a professional phone presence.

We provide the financial pros to call and utilize independent contractors to reach out to these professionals to establish interest and qualify information. After the CMF qualifies interested parties the information is submitted to RJ & Makay where we take it from there. RJ & Makay manages the entire interviewing and negotiating life cycle. Our CMFs don’t have to be financial experts but they do need to be friendly, upbeat and professional. Once interest is established the professional recruiting team at RJ & Makay takes over all correspondence and candidate management.

Compensation
We pay our CMFs in multiple ways. Depending on the client and the financial pro your speaking to our CMFs can get paid hundreds of dollars for a first-time meeting facilitated, a placement split-fee, or both. We give our CMFs the opportunity to earn both steady, monthly income as well as big-ticket placement split-fees. Our committed CMFs typically earn between $30K-$80K per year depending on skill set and time invested. Superstars earn more.

Work from home
Successfully working from home requires a certain mindset and self-discipline that most people don’t possess. This is an independent contractor relationship. Although leads are provided, we do not provide office equipment. You’re not punching a clock and as your own business owner you obviously work when you decide to within specified calling hours. Full-time or part-time is okay by us. We’re looking for professional contractors who can bring us quality, interested candidates.

No fees or costs
Besides basic phone and Internet there are no fees or costs of any kind to our CMFs. Nothing is purchased and you never give us bank account information or anything else confidential (unless you want to be on direct deposit when receiving payments). We don’t charge CMFs for the calling lists we provide.

May not be for you
This isn’t for everyone and in fact isn’t for most. Cold calling is hard even when you have the leads to call. Although most everyone you are calling is nice to you most of your calls will be soft rejections. We are looking for CMFs who want to succeed and are willing to invest the time and effort into their success.

All of our sourcing professionals have multiple Airs certifications and possess the rare ability to find candidates (and their contact information) that most others can't. If you're an experienced researcher or sourcing professional in the financial activities sector including financial services, banking and insurance then we'd be open to having a confidential conversation with you. Executive Recruiter - P&C Insurance recruiting background required (need one employee and one contractor)

RJ & Makay is seeking an experienced property and casualty insurance executive recruiter with a headhunting search mentality. At least five years of insurance recruiting experience is required. We’re looking for a real pro with a thorough understanding of the industry. We’re willing to hire as an employee or engage in an independent contractor relationship, but either way, this is a work-from-home opportunity.

The P&C Insurance Executive Recruiter will work with our seasoned team in filling a variety of six figure positions. We need to add to our team to keep pace with the growth our firm has experienced this year. We provide retainer and contingency searches (even our contingency searches are typically on an exclusive or semi-exclusive basis).

RJ & Makay allocates specific positions for the insurance recruiter to assist with. We provide the positions, extensive candidate research and sourcing support, and client management. This frees our executive recruiters to focus exclusively on recruiting functions such as interviewing and screening. You will be included on the client calls as needed. All communications with our clients are handled by an RJ & Makay Division Director.

We have world-class clients providing a strong and consistent flow of exclusive searches. We provide you with all of the positions and sourcing support needed to generate the candidate leads to begin the search. You will network off those leads (and through your own social media networks) to reach top quality candidates and then screen and interview the candidates.

Our leads are primarily generated through our database and networking. The professionals we’re recruiting are passive or poised candidates and not typically found on job boards. Although leads and contact information will be provided to you by our sourcing department, networking with senior level insurance professionals to generate additional referrals is a critical skill.

Most of the job orders are 100K to 200K+ on base salary. We expect 2 to 3 placements per month from this role based upon current volume.

Financial Services and Insurance background required

We’re looking to add more financial services Executive Recruiters to keep pace with the explosive growth our firm has seen recently. Five plus years experience recruiting in financial services or insurance at the executive contingency or retained level is required. We provide the positions, sourcing support, and client management.  This frees our executive recruiters to focus on recruiting.

Most of the job orders you would be working on are 90K to 200+K on base salary. You could anticipate 2-3 placements per month from the volume of work we have. We pay you a split-fee percentage for each successful placement. We have an established network of clients that are currently providing a flow of exclusive to semi-exclusive searches.   We provide you with all of the positions and sourcing support needed to generate the candidate leads to begin the search. You will network off those leads or through your own social media network to reach top quality candidates.   If you do not know how to network with senior level financial service professionals to generate referrals, then this is not the right fit.
